I explain the speech rules as being like a jigsaw. If a piece is missing then the overall picture is not complete. My clients have at least one piece of this "puzzle" missing depending on the severity of their stutter.

The speech rules are the complete set of pieces for the speech jigsaw, which when applied enable the stutterer to attain their fluency goals.

I believe people stutter because of the fear of stuttering. Once they have learned the speech rules these fears will diminish.

Since achieving fluency at the age of twenty two, I have helped many people who stutter to overcome their own speech problems. I have had clients from many different countries including Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Ireland and The United States.

In 1999 a happy client, having achieved fluency went to the newspapers and in one week I was featured in every national newspaper in the UK including the front page of The Daily Telegraph.

In this week I was interviewed on Radio 2, Radio 4, Radio 5 and various local radio stations. The courses I run were also debated on television.
